Field beetles

These insects live outdoors in gardens and fields and the most common are ground beetles, leafhoppers, centipedes and other millipedes, crickets, etc. They are not of particular health interest since they are mainly herbivores. They usually hide in dark and damp places under plants or stones, among flowers, etc. Although they are not considered pests, they can create problems when an increased number of insects is observed indoors.

When treatment is required, it is done by applying residual sprays at the points of their accumulation or movement. The pesticides used for this purpose are the same as those used to control other crawling insects (eg cockroaches, ants).
